Chapter 1: The Awakening
Rizky Dharmawan never believed in legends-until he became one.
Suara Sumutra journalist Rizky had every day exposed the logging and corruption of the corporations, or the weird disappearance through West Sumatra deep jungles; one led him to Bukit Barisan and forbidden caves. A temple hidden beneath the roots of an ancient banyan tree lay waiting.
Inside, an unearthly silence greeted him, the only sound whispers in an ancient language. In the middle of the temple lay a stone pedestal with a blackened Garuda Medallion. The moment Rizky had touched it, there was a strong force surging through his body; he saw visions of ancient warriors, battles against shadowy creatures, and one great impending disaster flooding his mind.
A ghostly figure emerged-the last Guardian of the Black Garuda.
"Rizky Dharmawan," the ghostly warrior intoned, "the darkness is rising once more. The land needs a protector. Will you accept this burden?"
Rizky didn't know what it all meant, but his instincts told him there was no turning back. As he whispered "Yes," the medallion fused into his chest, and the legend of Garuda Hitam was reborn.

Chapter 2: Shadows of the Past
His newfound powers were not the easiest to get used to: the shadow energy inside Rizky was hard to keep under control, and he found himself constantly phasing in and out into the darkness, having strange visions of some secret war that had been waged for centuries.
It was from Pak Arya, an old historian studying lost warrior sects, that Rizky first learned about the Ordo Malam, a hidden organization of powerful figures that had been controlling Sumatra's fate for generations. They were responsible for illegal logging, human trafficking, and even mystical rituals to awaken Siluman Harimau, the legendary tiger demon.
It wasn't long before Rizky realized that his journalism and his new identity as Garuda Hitam were intertwined: as a reporter, he exposed the crimes of the elite; as a warrior, he fought them in the shadows.
But the Ordo Malam was one step ahead.
One night, returning from an undercover operation, Rizky was ambushed by a group of masked assassins armed with weapons imbued with dark magic. Outnumbered and outgunned, he was at the mercy of certain death—until his body instinctively called upon shadow wings, which whisked him into the air just in time.
For the first time, he truly felt like Garuda Hitam.

Chapter 3: The Tiger's Curse
Deeper down he dug, he discovered that Ordo Malam's final plan was to wake up Siluman Harimau, which for centuries had been chained deep beneath Gunung Kerinci. This monster, if freed, would yield incredible power for the cultists, but it would rip out Sumatra's soul in return.
By that time, Rizky sought refuge with the tribe called Pagar Ruyung; they were hiding and consisted of warrior monks that some time earlier had fought the darkness. According to the head of the tribe, Bunda Melati, it was impossible to defeat the demon without the so-called Keris Cahaya, a Holy dagger hidden somewhere deeply in the jungles of Sumatra.
Yet danger lurked in corrupted spirits, treacherous landscapes, and his fears. It was only further bolstered that he found the lost temple of Keris Cahaya with his unlikely ally-the rogue Ordo Malam defector, Sari.
Too late.
The ritual at the hand of Raja Besi, a warlord working in employment of Ordo Malam, had already commenced: shaking earth, quick grounds that growled with the sudden breaking of a tiger demon across Sumatra.
This he knew was the real test.

Chapter 4: The Final Battle
The coming of Siluman Harimau shrouded the jungle with black flames; on its side, with dark energy now inside him, was Raja Besi, urging Rizky to stop him.
For the very first time, Rizky felt afraid.
But then, he heard the whispers of past Guardians. He remembered the stories of Sumatra's heroes-fighters, rebels, protectors-who had come before him. He was not alone. He was their legacy.
Then, with a mighty cry, he let loose with all his might, his wings spread wide with shadows, crackling dark energy in his fists. The fight shook the sky. At the last stroke of Keris Cahaya, he cast away Siluman Harimau and defeated Raja Besi once and for all.
Finally, the jungle was quiet again.
However, Ordo Malam was scattered, and Rizky knew this war was never over.
There would always be a protector needed in Sumatra.
And as long as darkness threatened the land, so would Garuda Hitam rise.

The Legend Continues…
With Ordo Malam still lurking in the shadows and new supernatural threats emerging, Rizky's double life of fighting injustice as a journalist by day and as Garuda Hitam by night continues.
His legend is growing. His enemies are watching.
But so are the people of Sumatra.
And they know, when darkness falls, Garuda Hitam will return.
